Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with Product Design & Engineering teams to apply Cisco’s Product Design & Test Methodology.
  • •Engage early in design to improve DFM/DFT requirements and provide timely feedback.
  • •Develop manufacturing test strategies based on hardware, system, and diagnostics specifications.
  • •Act as the technical point of contact for contract manufacturers, providing debug support and resolving product queries.
  • •Deliver scalable, efficient test automation code aligned with Cisco guidelines, with cross–BU and cross-product family support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/graduate degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.
  • •7+ years of experience in hardware product design, validation, and test automation.
  • •Strong C/C++/Python programming skills, with Java/Python experience preferred (Python preferred for Apollo platform).
  • •Understanding of product design cycles, hardware development, and debug processes, including familiarity with product testing standards and unit testing.
  • •Experience with NPI and manufacturing processes, plus knowledge of hardware architecture/components and diagnostics.
