Job Summary

Drive adoption, performance, and commercialization of Visa’s fleet and mobility payment solutions across South Africa and select Sub-Saharan markets. Lead product and market execution, act as the subject matter expert on fleet payments (fuel cards, acceptance models, controls, data, reconciliation), and translate market needs into compelling product positioning. Collaborate with issuer clients, fuel merchants, processors, acquirers, and partners to support go-to-market plans and grow volume, revenue, and market share.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead commercialization and market execution of Visa Commercial Solutions for fleet and mobility payment use cases.
•Serve as subject matter expert on fleet payments, including fuel cards, acceptance models, controls, data, and reconciliation.
•Translate market and client needs into product positioning, value propositions, and use-case narratives.
•Partner with issuer clients and corporate decision makers to articulate value and support RFPs and implementations.
•Drive go-to-market execution and commercial performance by growing product usage and partnering with sales, pricing, and finance teams.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree (or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree, or 2+ years with a PhD).
•10–15+ years of experience in payments, financial services, or enterprise technology, with direct experience in fleet or fuel payments strongly preferred.
•Proven experience working with fleet operators, fuel companies, logistics providers, or fleet management platforms.
•Strong understanding of commercial card products, fleet cards, virtual payments, and data-driven payment solutions.
•Client-facing, consultative experience supporting complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder engagements.
