Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate innovative concepts, perform engineering calculations, and develop detailed designs to meet complex technical requirements.
  • •Coordinate with stakeholders (design, manufacturing, customers) to develop engineering solutions and resolve design/manufacturing challenges.
  • •Support new product development programs and product maintenance through engineering projects and tasks.
  • •Prepare and review 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models using Creo and SolidWorks.
  • •Use PLM/PDM systems to manage engineering release processes and update BOMs and Change Notices (CNs) for lifecycle management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent field.
  • •5 to 10 years of proven experience in CAD design, preferably in heavy engineering or mining equipment.
  • •Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design for manufacturing and assembly.
  • •Proficiency in Creo and SolidWorks for mechanical design and modeling.
  • •Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure design precision.
