Job Summary

Provide second-line networking managed services for clients by proactively monitoring, investigating, and resolving network incidents and requests while meeting SLA requirements. Apply strong Cisco routing and switching expertise (LAN/WAN, VLAN/STP, and routing protocols like OSPF/EIGRP/BGP) to restore service and perform root-cause analysis. Support troubleshooting across complex infrastructure, including IP link issues, licensing, and SD-WAN-related components, and contribute to projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively review client requests/tickets and resolve incidents/requests without breaching SLA.
•Provide second-line networking support for medium-complexity incidents and requests.
•Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure and conduct root cause analysis on network incidents.
•Implement and troubleshoot L2 technologies such as VLANs, VTP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, and related Cisco switching concepts.
•Troubleshoot IP link issues (link failure, config mismatch, latency, packet drops) and license issues across Cisco platforms.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
•CCNP or equivalent certification.
•Complete knowledge to Cisco devices and hardware-level troubleshooting across Cisco products.
•Sound knowledge of switching/stack configuration and troubleshooting, including VLAN/VTP/STP/VSS/VDC/VPC.
•Moderate managed services experience and knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
