Job Summary

Lead regional treasury and tax functions for Asia, overseeing cash positioning, liquidity planning, payments, and bank relationships while driving process improvements. Manage corporate tax, GST/VAT filings, and transfer pricing documentation across Asia, advising business units on tax strategy and regulatory changes. Partner with regional controllers and Group Tax to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage daily cash positioning, weekly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning for legal entities in Asia.
•Oversee payment processing, bank transfers and account funding.
•Supervise bank reconciliations to be done by sub-regions. Prepare treasury reports on cash position and liquidity for management review.
•Improve treasury processes, controls, systems and automation where possible.
•Maintain relationships with banks, optimize bank accounts and be a single point of contact for Group Treasury.

Key Requirements

•Degree in finance and accounting with 10-15 years of experience in finance function. Prior experience handling treasury, corporate finance and taxation is expected.
•Good analytical skills, attention to detail and stakeholder management ability.
•Abreast to accounting developments that may impact the business’ financial reporting and disclosures and leads the business on implementing the necessary changes
•Advocates digital change and process / technology improvements in line with the organizational goals
•Experience leading regional tax compliance including corporate tax filings, GST/VAT filings, and transfer pricing related documentation across Asia countries
