Job Summary

Design and verify high-quality circuit layouts for memory, I/O, and standard cells within the Library Group. Apply layout guidelines and new process rules, perform floor-planning and schedule timelines, and complete verification (LVS/DRC/ERC, Antenna, Electro Migration) within plan. Work with Cadence tools and Calibre, quickly adopt new methodologies, and communicate effectively across the library team; leadership and training of junior engineers are expected.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand and apply layout guidelines for standard cells and I/O memories, including new process rules and technical requirements for quality layout.
•Create schedule timelines and perform layout floor-planning.
•Complete quality layout and verification within the planned schedule with minimal supervision for experienced engineers.
•Adopt new methodologies quickly and communicate well with others in the library team.
•Lead or train a team of junior engineers and contribute to project management and technology reviews.

Key Requirements

•Strong layout knowledge with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience.
•Cadence layout and Cadence schematic capture, with CALIBRE and Hercules verification tool experience.
•Strong layout experience in submicron processes (e.g., 16nm, 7nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm, 1.4nm).
•Experience in digital layout (standard cell, memory, I/O); analog layout experience is a plus.
•Experience with LVS/DRC/ERC, Antenna, and Electro Migration in CMOS process verification.
