Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with test and system checkouts, fly, and provide feedback to Test Engineering for Altius.
  • •Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight.
  • •Support test engineers with operational tasks including flight execution, material prep, and test profile support.
  • •Assist with product installations at test sites as needed.
  • •Support onsite maintenance and the site team, including equipment maintenance and inventory/office supplies management.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •RC, RPIC, or Pilot-operator (PIC) experience on fixed-wing commercial and/or defense Group 2 aircraft.
  • •Ability to get and maintain a FAA Part 107 certificate and complete FAA Part 61 ground school (as required).
  • •Ability to travel on an as-needed basis (including approximately 60% travel).
  • •Significant knowledge of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to own tasks in an autonomous environment.
