Job Summary

Sample asphalt products to ensure they meet required tests and quality control specifications. Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, and Department of Transportation inspectors to obtain necessary samples and mix designs. Maintain knowledge of asphalt procedures/production, prepare and submit required documentation, and follow company ethics, safety, OSHA, and PPE policies. Night/weekend and overtime work may be required, with occasional out-of-town assignments.

Key Responsibilities

•Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
•Coordinate with management, plant personnel, and DOT inspectors to obtain necessary samples and mix designs.
•Support the Quality Control Manager by helping ensure quality specifications are met along with daily production schedules/estimates.
•Prepare and submit proper documentation to the appropriate Quality Control personnel.
•Maintain PPE and follow safety and ethical standards; assist with other positions as needed for job completion.
