Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, modify, repair, and inspect boilers and associated equipment both on and off site.
  • •Operate and adjust equipment for maximum efficiency; take water samples, analyze results, and take corrective action.
  • •Under the direction of the watch engineer, changeover boilers using alternate fuels, oils, or gas; may assume watch engineer responsibilities.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance on boilers and controls; update preventative maintenance requirements as needed and keep equipment areas clean.
  • •Respond to emergencies (controls malfunctions, boiler failures, tower/chiller water supply), record daily performance/log sheets, manage inventory/parts, and support SPCC/SWPP compliance.

Key Requirements
