Key Responsibilities

  • •Fabricate, assemble, and test components of prototype aircraft instrumentation and ordnance equipment
  • •Set up and operate required flight test equipment to perform functional or environmental tests on production and/or experimental
  • •Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents for assignment if drawings, sketches, and documents are not with work order
  • •Fabricate wire bundles used to connect flight test computer equipment to collect and store data during test flights
  • •Perform tests such as vibration, thermal, humidity, or altitude using computer systems, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters, installing thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gauges by soldering, bonding, or mechanical fastening devices
