Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and lead CMP process characterization and advanced process development for 3D NAND and future technology nodes.
  • •Collaborate with global Process Development teams and vendors to develop, integrate, and align CMP processes with next-generation NAND requirements.
  • •Transfer developed CMP processes to high-volume manufacturing (Fab10N) and drive continuous improvements in yield, performance, and manufacturability.
  • •Develop strategies to expand process margins, including consumables development, equipment/hardware evaluations, and novel application testing.
  • •Design, execute, and analyze experiments to validate robustness, manufacturability, and technology scaling readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD with ≥5 years, or Master’s with ≥7 years, or Bachelor’s with ≥10 years in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
  • •Hands-on expertise in CMP process development, including CMP polishing equipment operation and process optimization for advanced nodes.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis using data analytics tools (e.g., Y3) and interpretation of complex experimental data.
  • •Working knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE) for systematic process development.
  • •Ability to lead and mentor junior CMP engineers, with proven cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
