Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and extend firmware running on Sentry Tower sensor boards, motor controllers, and power/monitoring hardware.
  • •Take on projects that build on or replace parts of the existing firmware baselayer without regressing dependent tower functionality.
  • •Harden firmware security, including authenticated and verified firmware updates and protection of exposed interfaces.
  • •Own the firmware update path, including safe updates for units already in the field.
  • •Collaborate with tower software and hardware engineers to diagnose failures and support board bring-up and debugging.

Salary: USD 192,000 - 292,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years experience in firmware development using C.
  • •Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM, RISC-V).
  • •Proficiency in low-level networking protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, SPI, I2C).
  • •Experience with RTOS and bare-metal programming.
  • •Familiarity with debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
