•Oversee and own communications strategy for Canva in France, Germany, and Spain, shaping priorities and driving product, technology, corporate, and consumer news.
•Build and maintain strong media relationships with reporters across France, Germany, and Spain to secure top-tier coverage.
•Manage local agencies in Germany and Spain, guiding work to deliver awareness, trust, and growth for Canva.
•Develop and support a bench of local spokespeople, briefing them ahead of media interviews and events.
•Collaborate with local sales leaders, growth managers, and partnerships teams to ensure communications activity supports broader business goals.

Key Requirements

•Extensive communications experience across European markets (France, Germany, Spain) with a track record of securing top-tier coverage and managing local agency partners.
•Exceptional media relations skills and an established network of journalist contacts across senior reporters, editors, and industry influencers.
•Experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies spanning product, corporate, executive, and consumer storytelling.
•Strong B2B and AI communications experience with the ability to translate complex narratives into locally relevant stories.
•Ability to operate across multiple markets simultaneously, balancing priorities with autonomy and pace.
