  • •Champion observability best practices and educate other engineering teams to correct instrumentation anti-patterns.
  • •Run and operate services in production and troubleshoot performance and operational issues.
  • •Provision, configure, and monitor cloud-native infrastructure and services.
  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable observability infrastructure, including Terraform-based tooling.
  • •Participate in major incident response to diagnose root causes and identify gaps in telemetry and instrumentation.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps experience.
  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • •Expertise in the Datadog ecosystem (metrics, logs, traces, error tracking), including alerting standards and Terraform-managed configurations.
  • •Strong coding skills in Node.js or Golang.
  • •Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability instrumentation (OpenTelemetry/OTel, Vector).
