Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage purchasing department operations to ensure adequate supplies across hotel departments within operational budgets.
  • •Review and approve specifications for issuing and awarding bids using RFQ/RFP processes, and manage procurement activities.
  • •Lead contract negotiation and ongoing supplier oversight to maintain cost-effective supplier relationships and improved pricing, quality, and delivery.
  • •Oversee purchase order placement accuracy, optimum delivery, and pricing across locations using centralized tools and onsite presence.
  • •Develop and maintain purchasing, contract management, receiving, and inventory policies/procedures, including reporting and systems to highlight variances and fix costing issues.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in the F&B, Hotel/ Hospitality sector in progressive purchasing roles.
  • •Experience with large, multi-unit purchasing operations.
  • •Proven budget and expense management with a track record of operating at or reducing targeted expenses.
  • •Strong relationship development and exceptional negotiation skills.
  • •Computer proficiency in commonly used Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
