Deliver and transport heavy equipment safely and on time for a rental facility, operating according to state and federal transportation laws. Use real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details, load and unload goods using specialized equipment, and maintain shipping paperwork such as signed invoices and bills of lading. Perform routine truck service checks, report maintenance issues, and follow safety regulations while working Monday–Friday with possible on-call scheduling.

•Transport loads safely and timely over required routes while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading and unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted, including returning empty skids and equipment to designated areas.
•Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork, and deliver documentation when routes are complete.

Key Requirements

•Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license appropriate for the weight of vehicle to be operated.

•Must pass a DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
