Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Stylus roadmap, triage, and quality bar using tracked metrics like component adoption, accessibility coverage, and documentation health.
  • •Build hard design-system components where aesthetics and performance trade off.
  • •Prototype interactive experiences in React and TypeScript and validate with real users.
  • •Work directly with designers in Figma or code to decide interaction cost and implementation approach.
  • •Prevent design/code drift by keeping tokens aligned, migrating legacy components, and keeping Figma-to-code tooling useful.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of front-end development with strong design sensibility and depth in CSS, the DOM, and browser rendering.
  • •Deep design-system experience including components, primitives, tokens, versioning, adoption, and governance for exceptions.
  • •Ability to shape work with a roadmap mindset and know when to say no.
  • •Experience building with AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code and helping others use them effectively.
  • •Comfort handling accessibility, keyboard/touch input, and user preference considerations by default.
