Job Summary

Own revenue recognition processes for a fast-paced startup environment by leading month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal approvals for deferred and recognized revenue. Ensure revenue accuracy and timeliness under ASC 606 and IFRS 15, oversee compliance across revenue streams, and modernize legacy systems through automation, data, and AI-powered tools. Partner with data and product teams to improve reporting and forecasting, and align finance operations with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead month-end close activities, including reconciliations, flux analysis, and journal entry approvals for deferred and recognized revenue.
•Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with relevant accounting standards.
•Oversee compliance so all revenue streams meet global accounting requirements such as ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
•Streamline and automate finance workflows to reduce manual effort and revamp legacy systems toward scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
•Partner with data and product teams to improve reporting and forecasting accuracy, and explore AI tools to enhance revenue recognition tasks.

Key Requirements

•2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics.
•Accounting background such as CPA/ACCA, or data/analytics experience with significant finance exposure.
•Strong understanding of P&L management and how revenue flows through the business.
•Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
•Interest in leveraging automation, systems, or AI tools to improve finance processes.
