Job Summary

Join the Restructuring & Performance practice to support multinational groups and local champions across Greater China. You’ll help define strategic targets within holistic restructuring concepts, build liquidity- and finance-aware restructuring plans, and drive rigorous implementation through PMO-based measure tracking and interim management. The role combines integrated business planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with hands-on performance improvement, stakeholder management, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.

Key Responsibilities

•Support holistic restructuring engagements by defining clients’ strategic targets and building the basis for sustainable success across strategic, operational, and financial dimensions.
•Drive rigorous implementation through Project Management Office (PMO) methods, including measure definition, gating, and tracking impact through to cash level.
•Perform integrated business planning and short-term liquidity management, including 13-week cash-flow forecasting and liquidity transparency in distressed situations.
•Lead operational performance improvement workstreams such as identifying, quantifying, and implementing EBITDA levers across functions (cost takeout, working capital optimization, footprint consolidation).
•Manage diverse stakeholders—including management, shareholders, lenders, and local authorities—while conducting scenario/sensitivity analysis and progressing bank/stakeholder rounds.

Key Requirements

•Excellent degree from a leading university or international business school, ideally complemented by an MBA.
•Strong business and finance fundamentals with a high affinity for numbers and excellent analytical skills.
•First relevant professional experience in restructuring, turnaround, or performance-improvement projects, ideally with exposure to the Greater China market.
•Solid command of integrated business planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and short-term liquidity management, including 13-week cash-flow forecasting.
•Hands-on experience implementing operational performance improvements and confidence constructing EBITDA and liquidity bridges with scenario and sensitivity analyses.
