Job Summary

Join the Hydropower and Dams team in Vancouver and help shape renewable energy infrastructure across Canada. You’ll support feasibility studies and detailed engineering for dam and hydropower projects, contribute to reinforced concrete and steel structural design, participate in site inspections and field investigations, and help develop drawings, specifications, and construction documentation—preparing calculations and technical reports to support safe, reliable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to feasibility studies and detailed engineering designs for new and existing hydropower and dam infrastructure.
•Support the design and analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures for dams, spillways, hydroelectric facilities, and related structures.
•Participate in site inspections and field investigations to assess asset condition and support engineering solutions.
•Assist in developing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
•Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and supporting design packages, including dam safety assessments and studies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification.
•Membership in good standing with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
•Exposure to structural engineering principles, with concrete and steel structures experience considered an asset.
•Knowledge of hydropower, water retaining structures, dams, or related infrastructure projects considered an asset.
•Strong technical writing skills to prepare clear engineering reports and calculations.
