Key Responsibilities

  • •Support product development and design of high-power three-phase UPS products across the full lifecycle from concept through production.
  • •Conceptualize, develop, and design advanced real-time DSP algorithms for power conversion/control in the power quality industry.
  • •Develop mathematical models and algorithms for DSP-based controls, and validate designs through MATLAB/Simulink simulations.
  • •Develop converter control algorithms and validate them across simulations and HIL testbeds; evaluate control architectures to select suitable designs.
  • •Launch critical power infrastructure products to meet safety, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule commitments while collaborating with global product teams to resolve performance and safety issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8+ years, or MS in Electrical/related with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in real-time digital controls and algorithms for power electronics or industrial products.
  • •Experience designing real-time digital controls and algorithms for power electronics systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink, including Control Toolbox and StateFlow (plus related optimization/filter design tools).
  • •Experience applying digital control and closed-loop control systems to power electronics (including three-phase electrical power systems).
  • •Coding experience in C/C++ and familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulators such as OPAL-RT.
