Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement, administer, and maintain cost control systems and procedures for budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts.
  • •Assist in preparation and review of cost estimates, and provide cost information to support decision-making and alternative selection.
  • •Evaluate contractor invoices prior to submission for pre-approval.
  • •Utilize cost capture systems to input and validate spending in cost reports and provide regular updates on the financial position.
  • •Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis, and evaluate/analyse fee proposals and bids with recommendations for decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrable experience delivering projects within Defence or other highly regulated industries.
  • •Strong foundation in project cost control techniques and professional working knowledge of project controls tools/software.
  • •Computer literate in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • •Knowledge and proficiency with discipline-specific cost/procurement software such as SAP and Sage.
  • •Ability to evaluate contractor invoices and fee proposals/bids, and provide recommendations for decision-making.
