Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in and support Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and processes, following safety and environmental regulations for safe plant operation.
  • •Identify issues related to mechanical or process abnormalities impacting analytical system problems and provide technical leadership for resolution.
  • •Perform installation, repair, and calibration of analyzer systems safely and efficiently; read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and loop sheets.
  • •Use SAP to initiate repair notifications for analyzer equipment and support work processes and procedures.
  • •Stay compliant with PSM requirements through computer-based training and support technical assistance to production and engineering groups.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum: Associate’s Degree in Industrial Instrumentation or Analyzer discipline, or certification/apprenticeship in Industrial Instrumentation or Analyzer discipline.
  • •Ability to understand and repair advanced process instrumentation and analyzer systems (e.g., gas chromatographs, infra-red, laser, conductivity, pH, moisture, O2, BTU, CEMS).
  • •Ability to troubleshoot modern process instrumentation systems and associated analyzer problems.
  • •Availability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime (call-out/emergency) and varying shifts, nights, and/or weekends if needed.
  • •Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and loop sheets; complete installation, repair, and calibration safely and efficiently.
