Job Summary

Provide a wide range of banking services, including opening/closing and maintaining deposit and retirement accounts, renewing time deposits, and assisting clients with inquiries, account maintenance, and problem resolution. Collaborate with the Teller Supervisor to develop, train, and motivate lobby associates to support customers and cross-sell bank products. Use product knowledge to identify sales and referral opportunities, manage client relationships, and complete required reports accurately and securely.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform financial service functions such as opening, closing, and maintaining checking, savings, time deposit, and IRA accounts; support safe deposit boxes and other deposit/loan services.
•Answer client questions and resolve problems by listening, collecting data, and providing accurate answers; profile clients to identify sales opportunities.
•Process new accounts and maintain existing accounts (e.g., name/address/product changes), while maintaining privacy of customer account information.
•Develop training and motivation for lobby associates (in collaboration with the Teller Supervisor) to help customers and effectively cross-sell bank products and services.
•Use lead lists and strategies to generate additional business, meet sales production goals, and complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Good understanding of financial services and products.
•Zero up to 3 years of New Account experience.
•Complete Personal Banker Mentor Program or Personal Banker Learning Plan; Teller Learning Plan if applicable.
•Understanding the Caller Identification Process and secure code (training offered); learn required training topics including BPM I–IV and DocuSign forms/templates.
