Job Summary

Work with a cross-discipline technical team to develop and implement automation control systems for the Zeeland facility. Create and maintain electrical drawings, ladder logic, schematics, bills of materials, and PLC documentation. Maintain and improve PLC-based manufacturing control systems and related automated equipment, including troubleshooting and uptime/reliability support. Support project delivery, equipment upgrades, and collaborate with process/product engineering and maintenance on improvements and new launches.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, ladder logic, and engineering documentation with accurate revisions.
•Maintain PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation, completing programming changes as needed.
•Troubleshoot and improve automated equipment and related components (devices, I/O, instruments) to meet production and safety goals.
•Maintain PLC documentation, archive PLC programs and machine control drawings, and support equipment uptime and plant reliability maintenance.
•Work with process/product engineering and maintenance on equipment changes for improvements, upgrades, preventative procedures, product changes, and new launches.

Key Requirements

•At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
•Ability to program PLC, HMI, and SCADA control systems is highly preferred.

•Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
