Job Summary

Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete to job sites. Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation rules, including licensing, vehicle inspections, and hours of service. Inspect the truck daily, safely load and unload concrete, follow written and verbal instructions (including maps and paperwork), and maintain cleanliness by cleaning equipment and drum according to company standards and safety manuals.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive mixer truck to deliver concrete mix to job sites in a safe manner.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete required driver check-off paperwork.
•Back under batching/loading hopper to receive concrete and maneuver the truck to delivery point.
•Climb on the mixer truck to inspect load consistency/amount and check the drum cleanliness; adjust axle pressure based on load weight.
•Clean truck after loading and delivery, including spraying with an acid compound in accordance with company standards and manuals.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must have a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Must be 18 years or older and pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
•Ability to read and interpret delivery, safety, and operating/maintenance instructions; write routine reports; and communicate with customers or employees.
