Job Summary

Lead complex structural design projects for aerospace components, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, certification requirements, and program objectives. Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CATIA V5, supporting advanced nacelle structures for future aircraft platforms. Drive RCCA efforts to resolve quality issues, mentor junior and mid-level engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams while delivering technical reviews and documentation to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute complex structural design projects to meet engineering standards, certification requirements, and program objectives.
•Develop high-quality 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using advanced CAD tools.
•Support design and development of advanced nacelle structures, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and technology maturation.
•Lead and participate in RCCA activities to identify, analyze, and resolve internal and external quality issues.
•Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with Stress, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and Program Management teams.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires an engineering degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
•Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
•Proven experience creating 3D structural models using CATIA V5.
•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or aerospace engineering (preferred).
•Experience with GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, root cause analysis, design for manufacturability, and aerospace industry standards (preferred).
