Key Responsibilities

  • •At the Frankfurt site, autonomously handle complex claims in the Liability and Financial Lines segments (often multi-million ranges, including US claims).
  • •Manage all external service providers proactively, e.g., law firms, assessors and loss adjusters.
  • •Steer targeted communications with insureds, brokers and their contacts and representatives.
  • •Ensure transparent and proactive communication with relevant internal stakeholders, including Senior Claims Management, Group Claims, Actuarial and Underwriting.
  • •Advise, support and train Claims teams in Liability and Financial Lines and support colleagues in Underwriting on technical questions; support sales activities and participate in client discussions and renewal meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus and interpersonal confidence.
  • •Very good German language skills and business-fluent English, written and spoken.
  • •Proven management skills and high level of self-organization.
  • •Many years of experience handling complex, international large-scale claims in Liability and Financial Lines.
  • •Fully qualified lawyer (Syndikusrechtsanwalt/Syndikusrechtsanwältin) with due legal expertise in insurance and business law.
