Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive engagement with stakeholders and perform risk analysis to identify priorities and key risk areas; conduct proactive independent reviews, provide recommendations, and track implementation.
  • •Ensure business unit policies and procedures are followed and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • •Assess operational readiness for new clients, processes, and system migrations, and lead innovation and process improvements to mitigate operational risk.
  • •Lead AFS-wide initiatives to reduce risk and improve adherence to controls; perform proactive reviews on processes undergoing strategic change.
  • •Perform root cause analysis and trend analysis using available metrics; collaborate on Business Continuity Plans (BCP) to identify gaps and deviations, and provide oversight reports to senior management.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of overall experience, with experience in audit, operational control, risk, or an equivalent function.
  • •Accounting and financial services experience, including Fund Accounting knowledge and familiarity with strategic goals, products, and operational functions.
  • •Strong understanding of risk management and control design/effectiveness, including proven ability to identify and assess risk in business processes, migration activity, and new products.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices (e.g., CASS, IMR, AIFMD, FATCA, UCITS V) as an added advantage.
  • •Proficiency in Six Sigma & Agile or other process improvement methodologies, plus strong communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
