Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement the Supply Chain strategy within the physical supply chain and materials planning environment, adapting to changing business priorities.
  • •Build and execute the Materials Plan using inputs from end-users and historical data to meet end-user requirements at optimal inventory levels.
  • •Operate reliable planning and suggested inventory models, manage inventory management standards, and update master data for new and existing items.
  • •Drive working capital and inventory optimisation initiatives, including disposal of excess/obsolete stock and initiatives that minimise wastage and reduce carbon footprint.
  • •Maintain stakeholder relationships across supply chain, suppliers, and internal end-users; mentor the team and ensure compliance with internal governance and legislative requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Grade 12 Certificate.
  • •National Diploma in Supply Chain/Finance or a relevant discipline on NQF6; B-degree on NQF7 preferred.
  • •3–5 years’ experience working in a complex environment and managing multiple internal and external stakeholder perspectives.
  • •Sound knowledge of systematic capabilities for materials planning, including demand algorithms, statistical models, and operations.
  • •SA Drivers Licence: Code B (Light Vehicle).
