Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan lessons and follow departmental schemes of work and the Arabic A/B curriculum or relevant examination specification.
  • •Use the school’s Teacher Planner (or similar) to provide evidence that procedures and curriculums are followed.
  • •Mark students’ work and assess learning in line with departmental marking, assessment, and recording policies.
  • •Maintain detailed and accurate student achievement records, and set and mark home learning per the Home Learning Policy.
  • •Prepare students for examinations and contribute to writing/revising schemes of work, and to review and evaluation of departmental practice.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Able to teach Arabic to both speakers and non-speakers.
  • •Two (2) years of relevant teaching experience in schools (advantage).
  • •Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with students and staff.
  • •Follow departmental procedures and curriculums in line with school policies and planning tools.
