Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across electrical/brake/cooling systems and related mechanical and electronic components.
  • •Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using test instruments, and road test vehicles to confirm repairs.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Complete repair orders and DOT documentation, document work with photos using company iOS device and TRAIT application, and maintain safety compliance (OSHA/EPA/DOT).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related field experience (or 5 years in a related field).
  • •Supply the hand tools necessary to perform job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Pass a DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with sufficient validity).
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license, maintaining a Driver Qualification File.
