Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary Account Executive and relationship owner for approximately 20–25 strategic merchant clients.
  • •Maintain and pursue a prioritized pipeline of high-potential prospects, qualifying and advancing opportunities based on revenue potential and execution likelihood.
  • •Develop and execute account plans to strengthen client relationships, expand executive engagement, and drive revenue growth.
  • •Lead negotiation, execution, and ongoing management of commercial agreements (including Debit Routing Agreements and other revenue-generating partnerships).
  • •Own end-to-end Value-in-Kind (VIK) management and coordinate cross-functional account teams to deliver client and Visa objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • •Experience in strategic sales, business development, account management, and relationship development with measurable revenue growth.
  • •Strong understanding of the U.S. payments ecosystem (merchants, issuers, acquirers) and debit routing/co-brand programs.
  • •Experience negotiating and managing commercial agreements, developing business cases, and advancing complex opportunities.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics and productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus experience leveraging CRM/sales and AI-enabled productivity tools.
