Job Summary

Lead the embedded software team delivering MCU-based functionality for Dyson products using Scrum Agile. You’ll review requirements, produce designs and architecture documents, act as an SME/technical lead for key software modules, and drive CI/CD, feasibility studies, and test strategy optimization. Own module/component development from implementation through verification and release, champion cross-team collaboration, and lead root-cause analysis to resolve complex software issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Review product and electronic system requirement documents and perform high- and low-level design analysis with the Project Embedded Software Architect.
•Act as SME/technical lead for key embedded software modules, components, or platforms.
•Lead technical direction for CI/CD, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concept activities.
•Generate embedded software requirement specifications and architecture/design documents, optimizing test strategies and development workflow.
•Drive module/component design through code review, implementation, verification, and release cycles; lead root-cause analysis and resolve complex software issues.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of embedded systems software development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.
•Proficiency with C/C++, UML, and Python for embedded development.
•Extensive real-time embedded software experience (e.g., FreeRTOS) and strong understanding of MCU/MPU architectures and peripherals.
•Experience building and testing in a Linux-based environment and integrating sensor devices using I2C, SPI, UART with DMA.
•Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunication, or computer engineering (or equivalent).
