Job Summary

Lead complex workplace investigations and employee relations case management for Autodesk’s Thrive (ER) team across the AMER Region. Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on sensitive ER issues, partnering with Legal, HR, Compliance, and stakeholders to conduct impartial investigations and deliver clear, well-supported findings. Interpret corporate policies and employment law, balance risk and business needs, and identify recurring themes to recommend practical improvements to ER guidance and manager resources.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently manage a high-volume, complex caseload of workplace investigations and employee relations matters, leading end-to-end investigations with quality and timeliness.
•Advise managers, employees, PPL Partners, Legal, and other stakeholders on sensitive employee relations issues.
•Partner with stakeholders to conduct thorough, impartial investigations (planning, interviewing, evidence review, credibility assessments, documentation, and written findings).
•Interpret and apply corporate policies, employment law, and regulations to provide ER guidance and clarification.
•Identify recurring themes and recommend improvements to policies, guidance, or manager resources based on investigation findings and ER trends.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree and legal coursework preferred).
•Minimum 8 years of Employee Relations experience, including independently conducting complex workplace investigations or advising managers in a matrixed organization.
•Proven end-to-end investigation expertise (interview planning, evidence evaluation, credibility assessments, documentation, and well-supported findings) for complex employee concerns and misconduct.
•Experience partnering with Legal, HR, Compliance, and business leaders while maintaining neutrality and confidentiality.
•Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to manage competing priorities in ambiguous, high-sensitivity situations.
