Job Summary

Own accounts receivable for key North America accounts within Global Revenue Management, managing aging, exceptions, payment processing, and timely approvals. Partner with credit control to assess delinquency risk, recommend and approve account suspensions, and resolve payment issues. Lead and monitor offshore collections teams for defined verticals using KPIs and SOPs, collaborating with sales, billing, legal, and engineering to optimize accounting systems and drive ad-hoc process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage accounts receivable aging for key accounts, assist customers with payment processing (ACH, wire, or online portal), enforce suspension policies, and investigate unidentified payments.
•Partner with credit control to identify at-risk accounts, propose solutions, and review/approve account suspensions based on delinquency or risk assessments.
•Collaborate with sales, sales operations, billing, and legal to resolve account setup issues, address payment risks, and improve collection best practices.
•Establish relationships with key customer stakeholders to resolve procedural inefficiencies and ensure timely payments.
•Oversee offshore collection teams, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitor KPIs, and collaborate with corporate engineering to optimize accounting systems and implement new processes.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of collections experience.
•Familiarity with the North American commercial market and customer habits.
•Proven ability to manage multicultural, overseas teams and develop/adjust standard operating procedures.
•Strong interpersonal communication skills to translate technical accounting requirements for non-technical audiences.
•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and able to learn new software tools.
