Job Summary

Lead the implementation of a new client communications solution using the Vermillion Reporting Services platform, replacing an existing platform and supporting a transition to decommission legacy systems. Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, cloud-based delivery. Manage project estimates and work plans, lead and mentor engineers, oversee quality, support UAT, and perform development activities including unit testing, QA, system test, and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the engineering effort to implement a new client communications solution on the Vermillion Reporting Services platform and transition off the existing platform.
•Work with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements and business processes.
•Develop project estimates, manage project work plans, and report progress/escalate issues to project management.
•Lead a team of engineers, including development, mentoring, and product delivery management while overseeing quality.
•Complete development lifecycle tasks including technical analysis, building and unit testing, QA/system testing, implementation, and post-implementation support; support UAT.

Key Requirements

•Expertise in Java, Webservices, Spring, Mulesoft, and AWS.
•Experience with REST or GraphQL API development and consumption.
•Experience working in a DevOps development environment, including CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source control such as Git.
•Strong problem-solving skills and solid understanding of software engineering concepts and practices.
•Technical team leadership experience, with experience in Scaled Agile preferred; Bachelor’s in an IT-related program preferred with at least 5 years of related experience.
