Key Responsibilities

  • •Organise classroom provision and learning resources, and create displays that support a positive learning environment.
  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver sessions that meet the needs of the whole ability range, motivating pupils through enthusiastic teaching.
  • •Observe, assess, and record student development in line with school assessment requirements (including Target Tracker).
  • •Manage classes and behaviour according to the school’s behaviour policy, with high expectations for learner self-control and independence.
  • •Contribute to wider professional responsibilities, communicate with parents/carers, and support curriculum action groups and weekly ECA activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • •Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum, including the UK National Curriculum.
  • •Experience teaching across the full ability range with proven success.
  • •Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and remain resilient.
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD); experience in more than one international school is desirable.
