Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain PLC-based automation systems for pipeline and facility operations.
  • •Design, develop, test, and maintain PC-based HMI systems.
  • •Design and implement automation system networks, including communications protocol and hardware specification/configuration.
  • •Read and interpret electrical, control, and instrumentation drawings; review design/construction drawing packages.
  • •Provide commissioning, installation oversight, troubleshooting support, and project/contractor management for automation capital projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in engineering or engineering technology (Electrical Engineering preferred) or 5+ years related industrial automation experience in lieu of the degree.
  • •5+ years of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Systems Integration, or related experience focused on programming, commissioning, and maintaining complex industrial control systems.
  • •Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC-5 (RSLogix 5), SLC-500/MicroLogix (RSLogix 500), and ControlLogix (RSLogix/Studio 5000).
  • •Experience with FactoryTalk View ME and legacy RSView32, plus protocol conversion tools for AB PLCs (including Prosoft gateways) and troubleshooting/support for DH+ networks.
  • •Experience designing and implementing communications networks using protocols such as TCP/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, and Serial Modbus.
