Job Summary

Drive the evolution of discovery and engagement experiences for emerging content types on Netflix, shaping vision, roadmaps, and experimentation to help diverse audiences thrive on a unified platform. Partner cross-functionally across Product, Tech, Content, and Production to take ideas through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration. Lead strategy memos and influence alignment while working data-informed with consumer insights, design, and data science partners.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive product strategy for emerging content types by identifying opportunities to evolve existing or create new discovery, capability, and feature requirements.
•Build roadmaps and take product concepts from idea through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration.
•Author strategy memos and presentations to communicate emerging formats strategy and roadmap across the organization.
•Influence a cross-functional team (design, engineering, consumer insights, merchandising, and data science) to deliver discovery and engagement products.
•Build business cases and measure product impact with data science partners while socializing evolving member needs with consumer insights and design partners.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 440,000 - 725,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years developing consumer products and features with comfort in complex tradeoffs.
•Experience working on podcast and other emerging content streaming products at scale and understanding the content lifecycle.
•Ability to serve as the end-to-end owner of the product development lifecycle from inception through planning to launch.
•Demonstrated leadership across organizations to drive alignment in a product space.
•Experience with A/B testing and using metrics to design tests and work with data science partners.
