Job Summary

Own key legal work for GetGround as part of the Legal & Compliance function, advising on commercial contracts, product and regulatory questions, and corporate matters as the business scales. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, support FCA regulatory requirements, and help ensure privacy and GDPR compliance. Partner with teams across the company, manage day-to-day legal risk, and build scalable legal processes, templates, and training.

Key Responsibilities

•Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supplier agreements, partnership contracts, and customer terms.
•Advise business teams on contractual risk and support faster, informed decision-making.
•Provide legal input on new product features, customer journeys, platform changes, and FCA regulatory requirements.
•Support compliance reviews of customer-facing content and regulated communications, and track regulatory developments.
•Support corporate matters (fundraising, governance, company secretarial) and advise on data protection/privacy including GDPR compliance.

Key Requirements

•UK-qualified solicitor with around 4+ years PQE, ideally with a mix of private practice and some in-house exposure.
•Strong commercial legal skills drafting and negotiating contracts in a fast-paced environment.
•Good understanding of FCA regulation and how it applies to fintech or financial services products.
•Commercial mindset with ability to provide practical advice beyond legal analysis.
•Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to work autonomously and manage workload.
