Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supplier agreements, partnership contracts, and customer terms.
  • •Advise business teams on contractual risk and support faster, informed decision-making.
  • •Provide legal input on new product features, customer journeys, platform changes, and FCA regulatory requirements.
  • •Support compliance reviews of customer-facing content and regulated communications, and track regulatory developments.
  • •Support corporate matters (fundraising, governance, company secretarial) and advise on data protection/privacy including GDPR compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •UK-qualified solicitor with around 4+ years PQE, ideally with a mix of private practice and some in-house exposure.
  • •Strong commercial legal skills drafting and negotiating contracts in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Good understanding of FCA regulation and how it applies to fintech or financial services products.
  • •Commercial mindset with ability to provide practical advice beyond legal analysis.
  • •Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to work autonomously and manage workload.
