Key Responsibilities

•Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, business models, ecosystem shifts, and customer behaviors to create new agentic commerce opportunities.
•Define product strategies, customer value propositions, and success metrics for emerging opportunities, including feasibility and tradeoff assessment.
•Lead 0→1 incubation by defining pilot requirements, operating models, and measurement frameworks, and executing experiments to validate demand and ecosystem readiness.
•Partner with engineering, design, data science, risk, and commercial teams to deliver pilots, analyze results, and iterate product direction.
•Develop ecosystem relationships with startups and partners, represent American Express externally, and transition validated concepts into scalable platform and roadmap capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,250 - 256,250 annually

•Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new product opportunities from concept through validation and scale.
•Strong strategic thinking to develop informed perspectives on emerging technologies, business models, and market trends.
•Ability to use customer research, ecosystem insights, market intelligence, and data analysis to shape product strategy and investment decisions.
