Key Responsibilities

•Lead aerodynamic design and analysis for fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and hybrid VTOL platforms; develop aero performance predictions and evaluate configuration changes
•Design, implement, and maintain high-fidelity flight simulation models; validate simulation accuracy against wind tunnel and flight test results
•Plan and execute tests with Flight Test personnel; coordinate wind tunnel testing; analyze test data to identify performance trends and improvements
•Identify and communicate system bugs and failures using flight test data; prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders
•Collaborate with TRS teams to deliver robust GNC software solutions and navigation capabilities for the autonomous drone fleet

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
•7+ years applicable professional experience with airborne platforms
•7+ years of experience in aerodynamic design and analysis, flight simulation, and flight testing
•Hands-on experience with CFD tools, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent simulation platforms
•5+ years experience in programming and data analysis skills (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, etc.)
