Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead aerodynamic design and analysis for fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and hybrid VTOL platforms; develop aero performance predictions and evaluate configuration changes
  • •Design, implement, and maintain high-fidelity flight simulation models; validate simulation accuracy against wind tunnel and flight test results
  • •Plan and execute tests with Flight Test personnel; coordinate wind tunnel testing; analyze test data to identify performance trends and improvements
  • •Identify and communicate system bugs and failures using flight test data; prepare technical reports and briefings for stakeholders
  • •Collaborate with TRS teams to deliver robust GNC software solutions and navigation capabilities for the autonomous drone fleet

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • •7+ years applicable professional experience with airborne platforms
  • •7+ years of experience in aerodynamic design and analysis, flight simulation, and flight testing
  • •Hands-on experience with CFD tools, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent simulation platforms
  • •5+ years experience in programming and data analysis skills (MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, etc.)
