Job Summary

Own support for RSAF data centre networks, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault/problem management to meet high availability service levels. Create and maintain network documentation, support planning and upgrades, and contribute to capacity planning and disaster recovery planning. Monitor performance, tune systems, and implement technologies to improve virtual networking. Ensure secure, reliable operations across complex Cisco and related enterprise networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment within RSAF data centres.
•Perform fault and problem management to meet high availability and service levels for RSAF data centre networks.
•Develop and maintain network documentation, including process, procedures, and physical/logical network diagrams.
•Support planning, coordination, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation of data centre networks.
•Monitor and tune performance; implement new technologies to improve virtual networking infrastructure and assess emergency change implications.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 6 years’ experience in a data centre environment.
•Cisco certifications including CCIE R&S, CCNP R&S/CCNP Data Center, or CCDE, and VMware Certified Professional 6 – Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV).
•Bachelor’s degree and at least one relevant industry certification, training, and/or degree (CCNE preferred).
•Experience designing, implementing, and providing 24×7 support for complex enterprise networks, including scalable high-availability architectures.
•Strong switching/routing and network security expertise, including Cisco vPC, BGP, OSPF, LACP, QoS, IPSEC, ACI, multicast, VxLAN, and eVPN.
