Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply secure software engineering principles to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software and cloud infrastructure.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business requirements, architecture, and technology direction; evaluate alternatives and ensure proper system design.
  • •Build scalable, resilient, and secure systems using modern practices (agile delivery, system functionality, maintainability, and ease-of-use).
  • •Deliver production software across microservices, APIs, relational databases, and asynchronous/message-driven processing; define service boundaries and support distributed failure modes.
  • •Provide production support with observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting) and participate in rotating on-call as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination (e.g., master’s + 2 years, Ph.D. + 1 year, or 12 years without a degree).
  • •Professional experience designing, building, and maintaining production software in a modern object-oriented language (C#, Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript, Python, or C++).
  • •Strong object-oriented design fundamentals (encapsulation, composition, interface design, SOLID, dependency injection, common design patterns) with sound judgment.
  • •Experience delivering software using microservices/service-oriented architecture, including API versioning and handling distributed failure modes (timeouts, retries, idempotency, partial failure).
  • •Proficiency with relational databases and asynchronous message-driven processing (queues/topics/event streams), plus automated testing discipline through CI/CD.
