Key Responsibilities

  • •Work within the mine waste team on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for the mining industry
  • •Perform site and material characterization and facility design including grading and storage capacity evaluations
  • •Conduct slope stability, seepage, consolidation, liner systems, and settlement analyses
  • •Engage in process fluid management and water balance, surface water management design and analysis
  • •Prepare portions of technical reports documenting field investigations, engineering analyses, and facility designs and assist with project design packages (drawings, specs, schedules, cost estimates)
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering or equivalent
  • •1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience
  • •Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or ability to complete within 6 months
  • •Strong analytical skills and ability to perform engineering calculations
  • •Ability to work independently and in teams, comfortable working in remote settings, travel willingness
