Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct daily maintenance activities in assigned equipment areas and set additional maintenance schedules as needed.
  • •Perform maintenance tasks including replacing, adjusting, installing feed mill equipment per standard procedures.
  • •Continuously monitor equipment for maintenance problems and develop strategies to correct issues and reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • •Develop and improve a preventative maintenance program, including parts replacement/repair guidelines.
  • •Maintain maintenance shift reports and track maintenance records in the Methods system, while ensuring environmental compliance and reporting issues to the mill manager.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma and 1 year of successful industrial maintenance experience.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and assemble feed mill equipment.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues (including solid-state circuitry, 110V control circuits, lighting circuits, VFD/soft-start drives, and 3-phase circuitry).
  • •Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and maintenance/safety procedure manuals.
  • •Experience with pneumatic and liquid systems, including compressors/cylinders/solenoid valves and positive displacement pumps, metering calibration, automatic valves, and plumbing.
