Job Summary

Lead the successful delivery of a strategically important contract as Programme Director for Raytheon UK. Manage a Raytheon programme management team and coordinate across Tier 1 and Tier 2 partners, working alongside the customer to mobilise, deliver, and continuously improve the Army Collective Training Service. Establish governance, risk management, reporting, and performance control frameworks, promote Programme Management Excellence (PMX), and coach and mentor programme team members.

•Lead, manage, and deliver contractual requirements within agreed budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
•Establish and maintain programme governance, risk management, reporting, and control frameworks for programme execution.
•Promote Programme Management Excellence (PMX) best practices to drive flawless execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
•Run regular governance engagements to assure delivery and programme success.
•Develop, coach, and mentor programme team members, serving as a subject matter expert for programme execution.

Key Requirements

•Successful track record delivering complex programmes, preferably as a prime contractor and including systems integration.
•Experience working in partnering environments in a prime contractor role alongside the customer and other delivery contractors.
•Experience leading large multi-disciplined teams across geographically dispersed sites.
•Track record delivering business transformation via innovation, continuous improvement, and introduction of new technologies and processes.
•Experience using industry-standard project management tools, techniques, and methodologies (ideally in defence).
