Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full oversight of maintenance, overhaul, reconditioning, and repairs of heavy-duty equipment in shop and field locations.
  • •Diagnose faults or malfunctions in mobile mining equipment and determine safe, efficient repair methods.
  • •Work safely with multiple trades in a production environment.
  • •Perform other duties related to the Heavy Duty Mechanic role as assigned by the department head.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 56.87 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Red Seal Interprovincial Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification required.
  • •Previous experience working on Komatsu 830E haul trucks, D375 dozers, and Cat 16M graders.
  • •Experience with Komatsu PC8000/PC2000 shovels and Atlas Copco 271/351 Pit Viper drills.
  • •Welding ticket would be considered an asset.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to meet pre-employment testing requirements.
