Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical accounting analysis and provide guidance on complex transactions, new standards, and financial reporting requirements.
  • •Research, document, and update accounting positions and policies, assessing impacts of emerging US GAAP and SEC guidance.
  • •Oversee preparation and review of monthly/quarterly controller's letters related to incentive compensation, pension/postretirement, AFUDC, and other matters.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, legal, treasury, regulatory, IT, and tax to align transaction timing with GAAP recognition (including capitalization assessments).
  • •Supervise and develop staff, conduct training, and lead presentations on accounting impacts; stay current on FASB/SEC developments and industry best practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 113,500 - 170,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject.
  • •At least six years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • •Prior supervisory experience in an accounting environment.
  • •Working knowledge of FASB and SEC reporting requirements.
  • •Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; CPA required upon hire.
